They participated in a single-blind tasting of hundreds of wines for the Seattle Wine Awards, Washington State’s most prestigious wine awards program, and painstakingly narrowed the entries down to just a few award winners. Polished, focused, and beautifully textured, this has notes of plum, currant, and rose petal. Hugh and Kathy Shiels, owners of DuBrul, take only the best lots from their magnificent vineyard to create this wine, and it shows in spades! Awarded Gold! Fidelitas ‘07 Red Mountain Red $46.99 btl / $535.69 cs A Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend (with 25% Merlot and 13% Cabernet Franc) sourced entirely from the heart of Washington’s Red Mountain AVA. Brilliant garnet in color, aromas of black cherry, cranberry and plum rise from the glass. The complex palate lends notes of tomato leaf, cedar and black currant with structured tannins and an expressive finish. Awarded Double Gold!
