Founded in 2006 by Stacy Lill and Kathy Johnson, this new Woodinville winery takes great pride in contributing a portion of the proceeds to local scholarships for underprivileged and at-risk young girls. We love this Chardonnay (sourced from Horse Heaven Hills) for it’s balance. The toasty oak on the nose only accents the pretty lemon cream aromas. The palate is rich, with a citrus note shining through out the spicy apple/pear fruit.

New Release! "Walla Voila" is old vine, Vouvray style Chenin Blanc produced since 1987. Jean Ferguson, L’Ecole Nº 41’s founding winemaker, loved this wine and crafted her version of Vouvray through cold fermentation to enhance the fruity and floral esters of this delicious variety.

"Last night I had the pleasure of tasting a fantastic Oregon Pinot Noir. This wine has it all; the classic varietal characteristics that too may Oregon Pinots lack, the complexity of a Premier Cru Burgundy, enough grip and tannin to suggest short term cellaring...and, as if that weren’t enough, the wine is crafted by none other than the Godfather of Oregon winemaking, Ken Wright. This is only their second vintage, but their first made quite a splash in the wine community, earning a 93 point rating from the Wine Spectator. The highly touted 2006 vintage shines through in their latest effort, which displays a degree of elegance when compared to other 2006 Oregon Pinots I have encountered, this medium to full bodied effort tips the scales at a mere 13.5% ABV, instead of the 14-15.5% that encumbers some of its peers from Oregon in 2006. What a perfect Nebbiolo, the regal grape of Barolo and Barbaresco fame! Verduno is a Barbaresco producer and they’ve scored a hit with this jewel of a wine. With a typically light salmon-ruby color of young Nebbiolo, this has surprising body and spice. Raspberry and fennel flavors coat the palate. Serve with braised beef tips sautéed with mushrooms, garlic, rosemary and fennel. Serve the tips and mushroom over wild rice, deglaze the pan with the Nebbiolo, and pour over the rice.

Ciliegiolo means "little cherry one." Well, there’s nothing little about this wine! This is a "wow’ wine which re-defines this native grape variety’s capabilities; it sets a tough benchmark.
