Shipping and Delivery Policies and Rates

Esquin Cyber Cellars is very concerned about the prospect of minors purchasing wine from our website. Therefore, all orders will require that the purchaser produce picture ID upon delivery.  No exceptions.  This is for your protection as well as ours.

Shipping rates vary from order to order, we calculate shipping charges manually on each transaction. These charges, or lack thereof, are based on three possible situations:

1.  An order is picked up at our physical store in Seattle.
2.  An order totals $150 or more, and you want it delivered free to a location within our Esquin delivery area from Tacoma to Everett, including Seattle and the Eastside.  (Esquin's delivery schedule applies.)
3.  An order needs to be packaged and shipped by UPS, according to the Shipping and Handling Charges table below.
4.  We will only ship wine, weather permitting, in order to insure safe delivery.  In cases of extreme heat or cold, we will hold shipping orders.  Thank you for your understanding.

Remember to allow 7 to 14 days for receipt of your order.

Esquin can only ship to U.S. addresses at this time. Shipping charges will be added to your order as follows:

 

• Champagne and Sparkling Wine rates are slightly higher-- call (1-888-682-WINE) or email for details. 
  Most shipments will be $5 additional charge.

• Alaska customers -- free delivery to carrier of your choice in the greater Seattle area. 

• Hawaii customers:  Shipping rates higher due to 2nd Day Air requirements.  Seattle-area customers can choose free delivery on orders over $150.00 within our regular delivery area, regular UPS shipping, or to have us hold your wine at the store for pickup.  If your order exceeds 12 bottles, you will be charged per the above chart for every container shipped.

Privacy Policy

• Esquin Wine Merchants does not sell, rent, give away, or loan any identifiable information regarding its internet customers to any third party without the customer's consent.

• In order to place orders on our website, customers are required to provide us with their email address, their full name, complete billing and shipping addresses.

• Esquin Wine Merchants will not disclose any of your specific personal information unless you consent to disclose it.  If you place an order, some of your specific personal information may be shared with shippers in order to finish the transaction. 
  You also consent to use of this information for verification of your transactions with us.  

• We collect information on Web usage, but this information remains anonymous. We use this information, in aggregate, for our research reports and for our performance surveys.  Esquin Wine Merchants may share aggregated or summarized information regarding its website visitors with third parties.
   

Returns Policy

• Esquin Wine Merchants prides itself in its simple and flexible returns policy.  We are happy to refund the purchase price of any re-sellable wine returned.  If the return is necessary because of a mistake we made on your order, we will not only refund your purchase price, but we will pay return freight charges as well.  If your return is for personal reasons, our standard policy allows for the refund of your purchase price, and requires you to cover return freight costs.

Discount Policy

• Five percent discount for mixed or full cases, except items marked "net."  Net items include sparkling and clearance wines. Case prices include discount.
• Some supplies limited-call ahead to ensure availability. We will hold orders one week, awaiting payment. We reserve the right to limit quantities. Not responsible for typographical errors or vintage changes.
